In the first tank, the water passes through
1.5 Cu.ft. of High-Grade Activated Carbon. Carbon removes or reduces:

In order to guarantee highest
efficiency and protection, the Carbon is back-flushed every 14 days. This tank
is placed ahead of the water softener unit so that the softening beads are
